We are always looking for farms to take FREE delivery of stable manures. Stable bedding, like all organic manure, is a valuable material to enhance water retention in free draining soils. In clay soils it helps to open the soil structure, permitting ventilation and drainage. All organic manures provide a useful source of food for soil borne bacteria, which play an important part in the up-take of nutrients to the crop. Stable litter is a useful additive/extender for poultry manures.
